OMEDO : A successful digital model
Founded in March 2020, OMEDO is a temporary employment company specializing in the pharmacy sector. From its inception, the company committed to making the experience for its clients and temporary staff more fluid and transparent by adopting a strategy based on digital tools.
This innovative strategy has been highly successful, attracting over 2,000 pharmacies and more than 10,000 temporary staff in less than four years, propelling OMEDO among the market leaders.
With a team of 15 employees, OMEDO achieved a turnover of over 13 million euros in 2023. In a market where many digital platforms struggle to find their economic model, OMEDO has not only adapted to these challenges, but also stands among the most profitable companies in the sector.
Facing a market that became too small for their ambitions, Dan SCEMAMA and Florent CHEVILLOTTE wanted to join forces with a group in order to deploy OMEDO in the medical sector.
AURIS Finance’s Support
In this context, Dan SCEMAMA and Florent CHEVILLOTTE chose to trust AURIS Finance to assist them in this process.
The AURIS Finance teams were involved at every stage of the transaction. First, the definition of the project and the construction of the associated business plan, the meticulous preparation of the documentation and identification of priority investors. Then, in approaching investors, presenting the project and managing all the negotiations.
At the end of this competitive process, which resulted in receiving 6 offers, LIP’s offer won the approval of the executives.
“AURIS Finance immediately demonstrated an in-depth understanding of the specific characteristics of our company and the temporary employment market, which established a climate of trust” says Dan SCEMAMA, Co-founder of OMEDO.
LIP, the obvious choice
The choice of LIP quickly became apparent due to the operational and technological complementarity that this merger offered in the service of a common ambition : to become a reference HR player in the medical field.
OMEDO brings to the national group (160 agencies | €500 million turnover) an innovative digital solution destined to surpass the boundaries of the healthcare sector.
“We did not have digital tools and can apply OMEDO to other medical professions beyond pharmacy and in other cities”, shared Thierry LABALME, General Manager of LIP.
LIP brings its expertise in the medical sector, its know-how in ultra-specialized temporary work, and the financial capacity to support this ambitious project to the young company.
“The temporary employment market in the healthcare sector is worth over €1 billion. To address this market, technology enables faster operations, increased responsiveness, and the ability to offer rates aligned with the economic reality of professionals”, emphasizes Florent CHEVILLOTTE, Co-founder of OMEDO.
