Semble raises 35 million euros to accelerate its rollout in France

Semble lève 35 millions d'euros et accélère son déploiement en France

Semble, a UK-based clinical software platform, has announced a 35 million euro round led by Revaia and Partech. With more than 10 million patients already supported across Europe, the company will use the fresh capital to establish itself as the leading connected health infrastructure in the French market, one of the most demanding and heavily regulated in Europe.

Semble has announced the closing of a 35 million euro round, led by Paris-based funds Revaia and Partech, with renewed support from existing investors Mercia Ventures and Octopus Ventures. Since December 2024, Semble has tripled its French headcount and expanded its partner ecosystem to more than 1,200 connected solutions.

A platform tackling the fragmentation of healthcare tools

Semble develops an open, interoperable clinical platform designed to orchestrate data, tools and artificial intelligence for healthcare professionals. Its value proposition rests on a simple but powerful observation: for years, the sector has tried to address complex systemic issues through point solutions that do not talk to each other. Fragmented technology often adds operational complexity for healthcare professionals and creates a disjointed experience for patients.

Christoph Lippuner, CEO and co-founder of Semble, sets out the vision: “This investment reflects our long-term commitment to France and our conviction that the market is entering a phase of major transformation. The healthcare organisations that will succeed over the next ten years will be those that build on open, interoperable systems, capable of connecting data, professionals and care pathways within a unified patient experience.”

A French market entry validated by regulatory certifications

The French market presents significant regulatory barriers to entry. Semble obtained its LAP HAS v2 and Ségur V1 certifications in less than a year, an achievement that speaks to the maturity of the technology, the technical depth of the team and the team’s ability to execute in one of the most demanding regulatory environments in Europe.

This regulatory backdrop, often seen as a hurdle, turns into a competitive edge: certified players enjoy immediate credibility with healthcare organisations, and the entry barrier protects their market position.

An investor syndicate that backs the thesis

The make-up of the investor syndicate reflects investor conviction in Semble’s trajectory. Morgan Kessous, Partner at Revaia, sets out the investment thesis: “Semble is building the operating system for modern healthcare: a platform that combines genuine clinical depth, the ability to deploy at scale, and the trust of healthcare professionals across France. The European healthcare market is in the midst of a major overhaul, driven by technological advances, shifting demand and new patient expectations. Semble is ideally positioned to support this transformation.”

Rémi Said, General Partner at Partech, adds: “What impressed us most was the team’s ability to combine a strong product vision with exceptional execution, building a certified, trusted presence in France in less than a year.”

A market undergoing structural transformation

The Revaia and Partech investment comes as the French healthcare system undergoes deep transformation. More than 200,000 doctors are seeing rapid changes in the way they practise, with solo practices gradually giving way to more collaborative care models, as illustrated by the rise of health centres and multidisciplinary group practices. This shift is creating structural demand for platforms able to orchestrate complex, multi-stakeholder care environments, exactly where Semble is positioned.

Named by TIME as one of the world’s best HealthTech companies in 2025, Semble plans to use this financing to accelerate its ambition of becoming the AI-powered care orchestration infrastructure at the heart of modern healthcare organisations across Europe.
