EDION Group, a recognised regional player in employment support for vulnerable groups in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, has finalised the sale of its subsidiaries to LA VARAPPE Group. This transaction marks an important step for the EDION Group, which is entrusting its continued development to a company that shares its values and commitment to society.
Since it was founded in 2007 by Astrid GASCON, EDION Group has focused on three key businesses: temporary employment via its entity E.P.I, temporary employment with a social vocation through Open Emploi, and training and consultancy dedicated to the employment of people with disabilities through E.P.I.T.H. With a network of 6 agencies covering 4 departments (Haute-Savoie, Rhône, Savoie, Ain), EDION Group has been able to grow while maintaining a strong commitment to serving the public interest.
The LA VARAPPE Group, with 30 years’ experience in social and professional integration, was the ideal buyer thanks to its shared values and complementary ambitions. This acquisition is part of the LA VARAPPE Group’s strategy to strengthen its regional presence and diversify its activities.
