La Boîte Immo brings Opinion System into its ecosystem and moves up to mid-cap status

La Boîte Immo franchit le cap de l'ETI

In 2009, Olivier Bugette launched La Boîte Immo from Hyères. Seventeen years and 15 acquisitions later, the group has crossed the 270-employee mark and 30 million euros in revenue. The Opinion System deal is not just one more transaction: it is the one that pushes the group into a new league.

La Boîte Immo announced on 16 February 2026 its 15th acquisition with the takeover of Opinion System, a Bordeaux-based SME specialised in certified customer reviews for the real estate sector. With this deal, the group crosses two symbolic thresholds: its headcount rises from 210 to 270 employees and its revenue grows from 25 to 30 million euros. La Boîte Immo thus reaches mid-cap status. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Opinion System, which employs 60 people, equips more than 14,000 real estate professionals. By collecting, standardising and certifying consumer reviews for real estate agencies, the company has established itself as the industry benchmark in this segment. Its client base gives it significant market coverage: La Boîte Immo works with more than 10,000 real estate agencies. The overlap between the two client portfolios is limited, which means the deal is primarily additive.

A missing piece in a carefully built ecosystem

La Boîte Immo was founded in 2009 by Olivier Bugette and has offices in Hyères, Paris, Lyon and Tunis. Its ecosystem includes the Hektor transaction software, the Oskar rental management solution, marketing tools, the Akadémie training organisation and the Interkab collaborative platform.

What makes the integration of Opinion System particularly compelling is that it does not fill a gap, it industrialises an existing relationship. The connection with Hektor has been in place since 2023, which reduces the uncertainty of technical integration: the challenge is not to connect the two, but to make it a native part of daily agency workflows.

Olivier Bugette states the ambition plainly: “Real estate is a business of trust. Customer reviews are no longer an incidental marketing topic: they are becoming a strategic asset for agencies. With Opinion System, we are integrating a key link in that chain of trust. Our ambition is to build a global platform for real estate professionals, able to support them across the entire value chain.”

Two acquisitions in two months, a sequenced strategy

The Opinion System deal does not stand alone. Following the acquisition of Hoqi in late 2025, a startup specialised in AI-assisted home staging, La Boîte Immo is targeting, through these two successive deals, two decisive moments in the real estate journey: property valuation on one side, proof of quality of execution on the other.

The AI angle is worth highlighting. La Boîte Immo intends to help its clients boost their visibility in AI models, whose answers increasingly rely on certified reviews and online reputation data. In a market where generative AI tools are starting to guide buyers’ choices, having access to certified and structured review data becomes a real competitive advantage for agencies.

Olivier Bugette does not intend to stop there: one or two further external growth deals are on the table by the end of 2026, which would take the group’s headcount beyond 300 employees.
