AURIS Finance accompanied the shareholders of Biscuiterie de Lignol in their sale to the family group Les Biscuiteries Réunies (LBR)

Cession Biscuiterie de Lignol

On May 17, 2021, LBR, a Breton family business, finalized the acquisition of Biscuiterie de Lignol.

Biscuiterie de Lignol is a company that produces Breton specialties (galettes, palets, sablés, etc.) under the Biscuiteries de Lignol and Maison Karadek brands for wholesalers, supermarkets, and industrial customers. It generates a turnover of 1 million euros and employs 10 people.

Les Biscuiteries Réunies is a family business owned by the Collin family. LBR’s activities include several Breton biscuit companies, including Biscuiteries de la Pointe du Raz, Biscuiterie de Concarneau, and Biscuiterie de Pont Aven, as well as Conserverie Courtin in Concarneau. LBR achieved a consolidated turnover of 20 million euros in 2019.

This transaction is part of LBR’s targeted acquisition strategy for the continuation of its development. The potential for significant industrial synergies and new outlets that could be developed between the two companies is what drove this transaction.

This merger allows Biscuiterie de Lignol to access complementary distribution channels.

AURIS Finance acted as exclusive advisor to the seller.
