LMC Services, a cleaning company headquartered in Le Poiré-sur-Vie in Vendée, is acquiring ECA Propreté, a cleaning business based in Les Sables-d’Olonne.
The group employs 280 people and generates revenue of €6.5 million. The transaction strengthens its presence on the Vendée coast, where it already has a site in Les Sables-d’Olonne. It follows the acquisition of Nickel Star, announced in January 2026.
Analysis by the experts at Auris Finance, M&A and financial engineering advisory firm.
Founded in 2013, LMC Services provides cleaning and maintenance for business premises. Its offering covers offices, industrial sites, residential and jointly owned buildings, large-scale retail and shops, public contracts and local authorities, as well as window cleaning and specialist works. With sites in Le Poiré-sur-Vie, Challans, Les Sables-d’Olonne and Marans, the group operates in Vendée, Charente-Maritime and Deux-Sèvres.
ECA Propreté operates in Les Sables-d’Olonne and the surrounding municipalities. The company provides cleaning for offices, jointly owned buildings and houses, as well as disinfection, clearance and grounds maintenance services.
External growth carried out in stages
In January 2026, the group acquired Nickel Star, a cleaning company in Parthenay with around 50 employees and revenue of €1 million. This acquisition took place in the context of its manager’s retirement. At the time, LMC Services had 200 employees and revenue of €5.5 million.
The two transactions follow distinct rationales. The acquisition of Nickel Star opened up a new département. That of ECA Propreté strengthens an area where the group already operates. The group states that each integration is carried out with a focus on team continuity and on maintaining its quality standards. It also aims to meet the needs of multi-site businesses.
An acquisition of business assets
The transaction concerns the business assets rather than the company’s shares. The acquirer takes over the clients and the activity attached to the business, without taking over the legal entity that operated it. This structure allows the acquired activity to be integrated directly into the existing organisation.
In an area already covered, the contracts taken over are added to the sites managed by local supervisors. The group places the transaction within its strategy of local development, with local teams and a responsive organisation. Over the coming months, LMC Services plans to structure its Les Sables-d’Olonne site: strengthening the supervisory team, a move scheduled for December and several local projects.
