Duranet Groupe, an industrial cleaning player based in Creil, in the Oise department, is continuing its external growth strategy with the acquisition of Renaudin Propreté, a Reims-based company specialised in industrial cleaning and related services. The deal brings the group into the Grand Est region and strengthens its regional coverage, until now concentrated in the Hauts-de-France and the Paris region.

The acquisition marks a further step in the development of Duranet Groupe, whose strategy rests on a gradual rollout beyond its home region. Led by Nuno Gonçalves, the group has built a leading position in industrial cleaning across the Hauts-de-France, before extending its activity into the Paris region. Its entry into the Grand Est therefore marks a new geographic milestone, achieved not by opening a branch from scratch but by integrating a local player already established in the market, an approach that gives immediate access to an existing client base and to teams with hands-on experience.
A Reims-based company with more than thirty years of local roots
Founded in 1992, Renaudin Propreté operates from Reims under two distinct brands: Renaudin Nettoyage, dedicated to professional cleaning services for private customers and companies, and Net’Moquettes, specialised in carpet and rug cleaning. This dual activity allows the company to cover a relatively broad range of services for a business of its size, from routine maintenance of professional premises to more specific work on textile floor coverings, a segment that calls for technical expertise distinct from standard cleaning.
The company employs 26 people and generates revenue of 1.3 million euros. Its founder, Jean-Yves Renaudin, has sold 100% of the share capital as part of the deal, the amount of which has not been disclosed. After more than thirty years of independent development in its local market, this sale illustrates a familiar trajectory for family-owned businesses in the cleaning sector, where the question of succession often arises in the absence of a successor within the company itself.
A stronger regional footprint and increasing critical mass
Duranet Groupe covers a range of services from routine maintenance to renovation, including disinfection, window cleaning and end-of-works cleaning, for a diverse client base made up of retail chains, healthcare facilities, service sector players and logistics platforms. This diversity of clientele acts as a resilience factor for the group, limiting its dependence on any single sector.
With the integration of Renaudin Propreté, Duranet Groupe now has more than 380 employees and maintains close to 600 sites, for consolidated revenue lifted to close to 7.6 million euros. This growth reflects a gradual step-up in scale for a group which, starting from a regional base in the Oise, is progressively building a multi-regional presence through successive acquisitions rather than organic growth alone, an approach that accelerates the pace of development while absorbing teams and client portfolios that are already in place.
A consolidation in line with the dynamics of the cleaning sector
The deal illustrates a broader consolidation trend in France’s industrial cleaning sector, where mid-sized regional groups are pursuing growth through successive acquisitions of local, often family-owned, businesses. This trend is partly explained by the very structure of the cleaning market, historically made up of a multitude of small, locally established companies, many of which are now approaching a generational transition without an obvious internal succession solution.
For companies like Renaudin Propreté, this type of combination addresses that succession challenge while giving existing teams access to the resources of a larger group, whether in the form of management tools, shared support functions or the ability to bid for larger tenders, all without breaking continuity with existing clients. For a buyer like Duranet Groupe, this build-up strategy speeds up geographic expansion while preserving the local roots that drive the commercial strength of these small businesses, a balance that is decisive in a sector where a close relationship with the client remains a key factor for client retention.
