CEVA Logistics, France’s leading logistics provider, has acquired MIPI, a specialist in last-mile delivery. Experts from AURIS Finance, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, analyze this latest market move.
Expanding Urban Delivery Capabilities
CEVA Logistics continues to invest in innovative French startups. Through its subsidiary Colis Privé, the group has acquired Paris-based MIPI, adding a new dimension to its urban delivery services. Founded in 2020, MIPI offers agile intercity delivery solutions and is committed to environmental responsibility, operating eco-friendly fleets and optimizing delivery routes. Notably, the startup stands out for its inclusive HR policy, with 40% of its workforce being women—a rarity in the logistics sector. In 2024, MIPI generated €9 million in revenue with 300 delivery personnel operating in major cities such as Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, and Lille. As part of the acquisition, Yasmine Lamarene, MIPI’s founder and CEO, has been appointed CEO of Colis Privé Group while retaining her leadership role at MIPI, which will now operate as a subsidiary.
Urban Delivery Focus
This strategic move enables CEVA Logistics to enhance Colis Privé’s offerings. In 2024, Colis Privé delivered approximately 90 million parcels through its network of 3,800 delivery personnel, five hubs, 51 agencies, and 9,500 pickup points, achieving €350 million in revenue. The company, which is committed to electrification—with a quarter of its deliveries already low-carbon—prioritizes proximity and service quality. The acquisition aims to bolster CEVA’s last-mile capabilities by integrating a well-established player in major cities with strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments.
Global Leadership
This acquisition further solidifies CEVA Logistics’ position as a global leader in transport. As a subsidiary of CMA CGM, CEVA operates in 170 countries across 1,600 sites, employing 110,000 people and generating €18.3 billion in revenue in 2024. While organic growth remains a key driver, CEVA has also pursued strategic acquisitions. In April 2025, the group finalized a $440 million deal to acquire Borusan Tedarik, a leading logistics provider in Turkey. One of CEVA’s most significant moves was the €4.85 billion acquisition and integration of Bolloré Logistics in 2024, which strengthened its contract logistics footprint and cemented its leadership in Europe.
A Strategic Sector
Logistics is a cornerstone of the French economy, accounting for 10% of GDP. The sector—encompassing transport, warehousing, associated services, and supply chain—is growing, driven by e-commerce but faces challenges such as fleet decarbonization and faster delivery expectations. Industry consolidation is accelerating as a result.
