Divestment of Ugalait, Fromagers de Tradition, and Plant-Based Catering
The company Olga, formerly Triballat-Noyal, a longstanding and independent player in the agri-food sector, has announced the divestment of several of its activities as part of a strategic reorganization. This carve-out process was managed by AURIS Finance, a highly invested advisor in the agri-food sector, with the close collaboration of Bernard Gaud, Olivier Kopp, and Maxime Gautier.
Led by Olivier Clanchin, representing the third generation of the founding family, Olga is a pioneer in organic farming and plant-based foods through its renowned brands such as Vrai (organic yogurts) and Sojasun/Sojade (plant-based products). Since its establishment in 1951 as a simple dairy, Olga has progressively become a key player in Brittany’s agri-food industry, preserving its family values, industrial expertise, and capacity for innovation, as well as its pioneering commitment to healthy and sustainable food.
As part of this new strategic phase, Olga announces the divestment of the following entities:
- Divestment of the Fromagers de Tradition Branch:
- The Hardy & Segré workshops (41) have been sold to Rians.
- Curée Nantais (44) and De La Houssaye cheese factory (14) have been sold to Beillevaire.
- Divestment of Ugalait:
- The Savencia Group has acquired this division, which specializes in the distribution of artisanal and farmhouse cheeses, based in Rungis.
- Divestment of the Plant-Based Catering Division:
- This branch has been acquired by Ariv, a company created by Michel Charrier (founder of Mireolian Group) and Marc Bouetté.
The process, which involved several actors in the agri-food industry, was conducted competitively and selectively, leveraging the in-depth sector knowledge provided by AURIS Finance. This reorganization reflects Olga’s commitment to rethinking its business model in line with food, environmental, and social transitions. By focusing on its core activities, Olga strengthens its leadership in organic and plant-based products with its flagship brands and ensures its ability to innovate and thrive in its markets.
Olivier Clanchin, President of Olga, formerly Triballat-Noyal, stated:
“The AURIS Finance team, particularly Bernard Gaud, Olivier Kopp, and Maxime Gautier, has supported us through several carve-out operations within Olga. Despite a particularly intense process, we took the necessary time to collectively ensure the success of these transactions under optimal conditions. The expertise in agri-food sector challenges, the total involvement of the teams, and the ability to structure a selective and competitive process were decisive factors. This reorganization will enable Olga to transform its model to advance food, environmental, and social transitions, which are crucial to the food industry and where Olga has always sought to play a pioneering and driving role.”
