A new external growth operation for Geomesure. Based in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, near Montpellier, the group specialising in the distribution of geospatial measurement and surveying solutions has announced the acquisition of Testoon, an Île-de-France-based distributor of measurement, testing and diagnostic solutions.

Founded in 2006 in Châtillon, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, by Jean-Michel Catherin, Testoon today has 15 employees and generated revenue of €6m in 2025. Its catalogue brings together more than 10,000 product references aimed at professionals in construction, technical inspection and thermal engineering consultancies.
A recognised player in building measurement
Since its creation, Testoon has built a model combining online sales, commercial support and partnerships with major accounts in property diagnostics and technical inspection. The company also draws on its own metrology laboratory, as well as on training services and technical support for its customers.
A diversification strategy long under way at Geomesure
Founded in 2002, Geomesure was historically built around the B2B distribution of geospatial measurement and surveying solutions. Prior to this acquisition, the group had 79 employees and revenue of €25m. Backed by its financial partners IRDI Capital Investissement and SUD Croissance, it has gradually broadened its scope to include 3D capture, the digitalisation of environments and digital twin technologies, through several acquisitions: POSITICS, positioned in 3D reality capture and acquisition; ZW France, publisher of the ZWCAD computer-aided design software; and Georeva, specialising in geophysical instrumentation.
A combined entity with €30m in revenue
With the integration of Testoon, Geomesure strengthens its presence in adjacent markets: diagnostics, technical inspection and industrial instrumentation. The combination should also generate commercial synergies through the cross-selling of client portfolios and the complementarity of the two offerings, with Geomesure covering measurement of the terrain and Testoon that of existing buildings.
The new entity now represents total revenue of €30m and 90 employees. With its headquarters in Saint-Jean-de-Védas and a presence in Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes and Rennes, Geomesure confirms its ambition to become a benchmark player in measurement, data capture and digitalisation technologies.
